2 years ago, CompMark relocated to their newly built premises - still in Henley-On-Klip.  With agents placed strategically around the country and a branch office in Cape Town, there is no town or village too far away - their customer base stretches from Messina to Knysna to Vredendal - even as far as Namibia and Zimbabwe.

Every year the Vantage System sports a few new modules or functions which identify that particular year's version.  For 2008, the Vantage System has renewed some very important facilities: amidst the financial agony for collision repairers to meet the OEM requirements, Vantage eases the pain with the newly expanded OEM Audit Reports.  These reports will automatically draw the relevant information, insert it into an MS Excel file, and then e-mail it directly to the manufacturer.  This information is particularly difficult to compile manually, since multiple manufacturers' turnover comparisons and various time and labour analysis need to be made. (Typical compilation Time for this Report is around 1 second).

THE "ALL NEW" THATCHAM
The TTS Database was totally revamped and linked to the complete M&M vehicle list - now able to provide labour times for any vehicle on the road in SA (sedan, bakkies and LDVs).  The Thatcham Times System is still the most reliable Labour Times System internationally, and as a fully integrated part of Vantage, can be utilized for an unlimited number of quotes, at a fixed monthly fee.  The analysis of productivity in the workshop remains at the forefront of the success of a panel repair shop and Vantage is fully geared to provide the Repairer with all the tools required for the analysis of his labour operations.

Alongside Thatcham, runs Timetec, the electronic Access and Job Time Control System.  The functionality and the reporting of the time control system was expanded with added reports and linkup to the Payroll System.  TimeTec will control, start and stop times on jobs in multiple departments and report on it by Employee, Department or Job.  Absentee information and reports on idle time are also produced.

The online Helpdesk has gone far to alleviate bottlenecks on the support side.  With the online helpdesk, there are no busy signals and no messages to leave - waiting for someone to call back. The customer accesses the online site and states what the problem is.  It registers immediately at both the Gauteng and Cape Town Offices.  A helpdesk consultant will respond within the hour.  A huge amount of support is still done telephonically and three permanent agents are on the road visiting sites to sort out queries and train on a one-to-one basis with customers.

The revamp of the Workshop Module allows for an even wider range of functions and especially the Final Costing and Protocol applications are saving the user an immense amount of time.  With the Vantage integration to a comprehensive Accounting system, the product as a whole, is "a complete business solution" - load Vantage on your system and you need nothing else.
